When Peyton first thought of the idea of being married to somebody in the military, she thought that people do it all the time and that she just wanted to be with me. Now that I am deployed I am pretty sure she is having second thoughts, and that is an understatement.
One quality I saw in her while we were dating was her strength to handle anything thrown at her. Our first 9 months together in the military we were not together and she held strong. She has been through a lot and still tries to put on a chipper face for me when we talk.
I miss her more then I could ever imagine. You really do not know what these guys are going through until you do it. Before deployment we thought this would not be so bad, but we could not even understand how hard it was really going to be.
Peyton has started a family with me, just the dogs and soon to be Gage, but I am thankful every day she found something in me that she liked. She has blessed me with the love of a family and that is what makes me do what I do every day.
Baby I love you, and miss you so much. Hold strong and I will be home soon.

Ted that is so sweet of you! I can't even imagine what you two are going through. Thank goodness for technology. Be strong for each other and know it will be over soon. I'm glad she has you.

That was the sweetest thing I've ever read! I know yall are going to go through some tough times but I know yall are strong!!!! :) I'm so happy she has to in her life!! And I really can't wait to see that little baby boy!!!
